The 1st Sunday in July has traditionally been the date of the RAF Boy Entrant Association Memorial day at the National Memorial Arboretum. Sadly the event for 2020 had to be cancelled.   And so it came about on Sunday 5th July 2020 at 10.00 hours (having pre-booked) that four local Association members decided that they could safely meet there, socially distanced, to hold a small ceremony.

Dudley Stringer 41st Supplier, Rod Goodier 41st Supplier, Dave Morgan 43rd Air Radar, Denis Cook 47th GWM, and along with Janet Goodier, Maureen Morgan and Vivien Cook read the names 56 deceased RAF Boy Entrants, whose names had been advised to the Association in the previous 12 months, before the Wreaths and Floral Tributes were laid at the base of the Memorial.

Dudley Stringer laid a wreath on behalf of the Association, Rod Goodier laid a wreath for the 41st Suppliers; David Morgan laid a wreath for 43rd Air Radar and Denis Cook laid a wreath for the 47th GWM.  Maureen Morgan laid a small Poppy Bouquet, on behalf of one of the bereaved families.

We will remember them.
